March 2, 2011HOW TO GET THERE: - From Surigao City: - From Butuan City: - You can take the airplane or ferry boat from Manila or Cebu City to go to Surigao City or Butuan City. WHERE TO STAY - You can book at the Gigaquit Town House. Please contact Gigaquit Tourism Office for reservation.
Option 1: Hire a van all the way to Gigaquit
Option 2: Take the van or jeepney going to Gigaquit at the Surigao City Central Terminal. You can also ride those going to Claver or Surigao del Sur then get off at Gigaquit Junction in Bgy. San Isidro (Parang), Gigaquit. To go to the town proper, take a motorcylce (habal-habal) from the junction.

You can also ride those going to Claver or Surigao del Sur then get off at Gigaquit Junction in Bgy. San Isidro (Parang), Gigaquit. To go to the town proper, take a motorcylce (habal-habal) from the junction.
WHERE TO EAT
Option 1: If you want cook by yourself, gas stove can be provided at the Gigaquit townhouse.
Option 2: A local chef can be hired to cook for you.
Option 3: Arrange for cooked meal to be delivered to you.
